Al-Ihsan: Jurnal Bisnis dan Ekonomi Syariah follows the guidelines established by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) in all matters related to publication ethics. The journal adheres to the highest ethical standards expected of editors, authors, and reviewers. The publisher has no authority to interfere with the integrity of submitted papers and is solely responsible for ensuring regular and timely publication.
Editors must ensure that authors comply with the writing procedures and guidelines established by Al-Ihsan: Jurnal Bisnis dan Ekonomi Syariah.
Editors may communicate with the Journal Manager, fellow Editors, and Reviewers when making final decisions regarding manuscripts.
Editors should decline assignments if there is a potential conflict of interest.
Editors must evaluate manuscripts objectively, without regard to nationality, ethnicity, political affiliation, race, religion, gender, seniority, or institutional affiliation of the author.
Editors must ensure that the manuscript sent to reviewers does not contain information about the author, and vice versa (double-blind review).
Editorial decisions must be communicated to authors along with reviewers’ comments, except in cases where comments are defamatory or personal.
Editors should respect requests from authors who object to certain individuals reviewing their manuscripts, provided there are valid reasons.
When editors find or suspect violations such as authorship disputes or unethical practices, they should follow the COPE flowcharts for resolving authorship conflicts.
Editors and all editorial staff must maintain the confidentiality of all submitted manuscripts.
Reviewers are requested to assess the content of manuscripts in accordance with the journal’s focus and scope and to provide constructive recommendations for improvement.
Reviewers should comment on any ethical or procedural concerns found in the manuscript, including potential research or publication misconduct.
Reviewers are expected to complete their review within the allotted time and must notify the editor if they are unable to meet the deadline.
Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential documents.
Reviewers should not accept manuscripts for review if there are potential conflicts of interest, whether personal, professional, or institutional.
Reviewers must inform the editor of any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under review and other published or submitted works they are aware of.
Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and must not be used for personal benefit.
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts are original and free from any form of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism.
Authors must confirm that their manuscripts have not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to another journal.
Authors must ensure that their manuscripts represent their own original work and that all references are properly cited according to the journal’s format.
Authors must adhere to the submission procedures established by Al-Ihsan: Jurnal Bisnis dan Ekonomi Syariah.
Authors must not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time.
Authors must be prepared to provide supporting data and research details if requested by the editor for verification in cases of suspected data falsification or plagiarism.
If authors discover significant errors or inaccuracies in their published work, they must promptly notify the editor to withdraw or correct the manuscript.
Authors are not permitted to withdraw a manuscript under review until the review process is completed and an official decision is made by the editor.
